Kayak trip 7/24/09

Went for an overnight kayak trip last weekend.  Covered about 20 miles and camped out on an island.

Matt and Sky in a conoe, the plan was simple: "Dog goes in the boat"

Right, why they expected the dog to stay in the boat was beyond me (it's a really hyper dog)...  We kept hauling him back in, but it wouldn't be long before he'd jump out again, probably swam about half the trip:

Looks like a great time Rio.  Where did you guys go, on the Columbia up close to your place?  Kinda' looks like it.
