JKS/Currie 1" Lift Motor Mount
The only one inch lift engine mounts on the market are for 4.0L YJ's and TJ's. We learned that it was possible to use the 4.0L engine lift on a 2.5L TJ. So we figured since the 4.0L YJ and TJ were covered along with the 2.5L TJ, then shouldn't the 2.5L YJ also be covered? Sounds logical doesn't it? Well, with a quick phone call to JKS we ordered a pair of their 1 inch engine mounts. Turns out these are the same mounts that Currie sells. We talked to the guy's at Currie Enterprise and asked them if anyone had been able to use their kit with a 2.5L YJ. To our surprise they said no. To add to that, they said it was not possible. Some companies said the reason they didn't make a kit for the 2.5L YJ was because they changed the engine mounts often. Well with the parts on hand we weren't going to let this stop us now. Kenne Bell SuperCharger Install
I’ll start this off by letting you know that this won’t be a step-by-step installation guide. If you want to install the Kenne Bell unit (and I think you’d definitely want to), they’ll send you a set of very complete instructions that’ll guide you through every step of the process in excruciating detail. Aside from a general overview of the important steps, what I will write about here are the things that Kenne Bell didn’t warn me about, or sent me off in a confusing direction. Had I known some of these things in advance, I wouldn’t have banged my head against the wall trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Domain: http://www.4x4wire.com Rating: (0/5)

M.O.R.E. 1-inch motor mount lift
An MML will help to straighten out your driveline the way a transfer case drop would except you dont have to sacrifice any clearance under your Jeep.... you know, the same clearance you just paid a bundle lift higher. Anyway, a high quality MML like M.O.R.E. Domain: http://www.4x4xplor.com Rating: (0/5)

Modified Throttle Body
If you talk to any old hot rod fanatic, they will tell you one sure fire way to get more power from an engine is to get more air in. This is the basic theory behind technologies such as turbo charging, super charging and ram air systems. The eventual result is the ability to burn more fuel with the increased amount of air. This modification eliminates a restriction in the Jeep 4.0 Liter throttle body just after the throttle butterfly. Resulting in a larger intake path for air to enter the engine. You can actually purchase a modified throttle body from Turbo City for around $200.00 with the same modification I describe here. Save yourself some money and pick up the supplies yourself at a local hardware store and do the modification yourself. Domain: http://www3.mtco.com Rating: (0/5)

Motorcraft Carb on a YJ
I came across a Motorcraft 2150 from a 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer for a good price, so I did this swap. There'&s a lot of research out there, so do your reading before tackling the project if you plan on it. There are 3 different styles of 2100s (2150 is just the high altitude version I believe). They are the size of the venturis or jets and affect the amount of gas that is injected. There is the 1.08, 1.14, and 1.21 sizes, and the number is printed on the side of the carb. Mine happened to be the 1.21 version which I read is very hard to get working, but it seems to work fine for me for now, so I'&m very happy. Here'&s a pic of the carb next to my stock Carter BBD Domain: http://novajeepers.com Rating: (3/5)
