We are a member of the California Association of Four Wheel Drive Clubs, support Friends Of The Rubicon, and believe in a Tread Lightly philosophy. We're the California Association of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs, Inc. Since 1959, our non-profit organization has actively promoted the advancement of vehicle oriented outdoor recreation. Today, the Association represents over 8,000 members and 160 member clubs. We are the largest organization of this type in the State and represent owners of all makes and models of 4WD vehicles, as well as non-owners who support responsible vehicle oriented recreation.

The Capital City Mountain Goats Four Wheel Drive Club is dedicated to social education, recreational activities, to protect our natural resources and to encourage participation in conservation projects, to support the California Association of Four Wheel Drive Clubs Inc. and to enjoy family recreation.

Clovis Independent 4-Wheelers
We are a non-profit organization located in the Fresno/Clovis, Ca. area. We enjoy 4-Wheeling and the outdoors in general. We practice and encourage others to Tread Lightly!
We have monthly meetings at least 2 planned events per month and, of course, we have fun.
Our monthly events include trail rides, sno-runs, organized runs throughout the state, pool parties, get-togethers, charity and community events.
We also organize and put on our popular Moonlight Madness Poker Run. After our annual run, our club donates 20% of the proceeds to charitable organizations, such as Valley Childrens Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, The Marjorie Mason Center, The Make A Wish Foundation and the Shriners. In the past 3 years we have been able to donate over $4500 to these wonderful charities.
