JpCooler

I think I must have at least 3 or 4 small coolers that I rotate through because none of them actually seem to fit my TJ the way I like it. My last run I had a soft cooler that was literally square with a small metal frame at the bottom. It fit in my passenger seat, but I knew it would be a problem so I tried to mash it between the passenger seat and the dash. It worked, but nothing like mashed chips and a sandwich I picked up at a gas station before heading out.

Looking around on the net I came across a cooler made by JpCooler a few months back. Sure it was a cool idea, but who wants a big long cooler sitting in their Jeep. I did, but I knew a lot of space would be wasted because of its interior size. Knowing I was going on another trip I took a gander at JpCooler.com again amazingly enough they came up with a new cooler that addressed my little problem.

Now I have a cooler with two separate pockets. One for dry and one for cold food. This cooler is designed to fit in the CJ, YJ and the TJ.

This is a fairly easy modification. Fill it and stuff it in your Jeep. Below I was playing showing off what the cooler can hold. I haven't yet put it to the test, however Im going on a trip and I will have food and water in it for roughly 5days. Of course I understand ice melts. Im going to start off with a few bags of ice and replace as necessary. Written by kizer, if you have any questions or comments about this install visit

The well designed cooler easily fits in between the fender wells of my TJ and the rear door shuts.

The new designed cooler has two separate sections. I just happened to pack one side with count em 6 6packs of various sodas on one side and a 10 pack of 16oz water bottles. I would of put more water in it, but I didn't have any more in the fridge to stuff in it.

Here you are. You can count the rows of soda. =)

Another item now included with the JpCooler is a small utility bag that you can carry tools, food or any combination.

Simply slide the utility bag inside either of the sections. The bag will protect the cooler liner from tears from sharp objects. Now I can carry several bottle waters and my airup tools along with other odds and ends.

Here we are again showing the bag inside and ready to go.

On top of each section there is a draw down string to secure items. I just happened to secure my winch remote and my gloves. You can ask anybody who's ever played passenger. Im always loosing my gloves somewhere. Now I have a place to keep them.

Top of the cooler there is a pair of nylon straps and a velcro closer to keep the handles together so you can carry your 6 6packs full of water and 10 bottles of water. I did.

On each side there is a nice handle for either carrying or securing with straps of your choice inside your Jeep.

I was feeling a bit silly and wondered how much room I would have with some milk. Man there is room for maybe some bacon and some eggs in there. Of course Im sure the rockin and rolling would make short order of the eggs. What about using the other pocket. =)

Don't get excited. That's one bottle of apple cider and one is I believe cranberry. However if your planning a romantic outing it will carry them. I hope you have more in mind than a bottle or two.
