This step is totally optional, but in my opinion you should do it.
Take a pair of needle nose plyers and squeeze the ends of the open
part of the "C" clip against the metal shaft that holds
the two parts of your door surrounds. |

Take a regular screw driver and pry the "C" clip away
from the shaft. There isn't much to pry it moves rather easy, but
you need just a little bit of leverage. |

Do not let the "C" clip fly off because it will be hard
to find. Now use the same needle nose plyers and gently pull the
clip off and store in a safe place. I normally put the clip back
on once I have seperated the two halfs. |

This is a top down view of the entire setup. Very top is a "No
Drill header" left and right are the top pieces of the "door
surrounds" and the middle is the "bikini top" laying
exactly like it would on top of your Jeep. |

First install the door surrounds with the retaining screws. Imagine
how lame it would look having the complete door surrounds connected.
I take the lower section off simply because they are not need and
of course the coolness factor. |

Place the Drilless header on top of the windsheild channel. |

Insert the bottom half of the Drilless header using the two supplied
9/16ths bolts and washers |

Place firm pressure along the top of the header while you use either
a socket or a wrench to tighten to lower half to the top. Becareful
not to really wrench down on it. You only need to secure, but not
to bend the inside of your Jeep because you might cause yourself
future problems. |

Just throw your bikini top on top of your roll cage with all of
the straps to the back and the smooth edge along the windsheild. |

Pull the longest strap through your sound bar and roll cage. Of
course it does wrap around the back side. |

This is what the longest strap should look like. |

Now take the longest strap that wrapped around your roll bar and
pull it back to the front through the footman loop and loosely secure
it. |

Now with the longest strap loosely secured take the remaining straps
and do the samething. Make sure you keep them loose. The idea is
just to give you a little bit of resistance when you insert the
windsheild channel portion. |

Start from one side and slowly tuck the windshield channel in the
edge of the Header. |

When your done it will look loose and almost appear to fall out.
You can see along the top it fell out a little bit. Do not worry
thats what the rear straps are for. |

Now look at the front of your Jeep. make sure the amount of slack
from the bikini looks the same on both sides above your windsheild. |

Now the outter most straps appear to be the most complicated for
some reason. Everytime I attempt to install them I have to re-examine
them because they stump me. Now looking at the red arrows you push
the strap behind the rollbar and speaker bar then around the outside
into the strap. |

Rember the door surrounds you shortened before? Now at the very
outer edge closest to your seat there is a grove. Insert the edge
of the bikin top into it and it will resist. If it didn't you would
have a horrid flapping top. |

Just next to the windsheild there is a pair of velcro straps. Tuck
the piece with the "hooks" behind the door surround and
it should be long enough to wrap up and tuck under the bikini top.
Now take the soft "hairy" strap and secure it in place |

After both sides are done. Pull and tighten all your straps. Often
you will find yourself pulling the straps a bit tighter after a
run on the freeway or long trips. When the top is hot it is more
plyable and will stretch a bit. |

Now take all of them loose strap ends and tuck them up under your
bikini top and roll bar. Now no more sun burned head or rain if
you get caught in a freak rain storm. Her in Washington state it
is very normal for a rain to hit unannouced. |
