LED Tail lights page 4

Yes Im very aware that it looks like a wiring nightmare. The wire hanging in the middle is my current 3rd tail light wire using the stock wiring and some home made thing that has survived the last year or so.

Run the wire up to the center. Of your carrier. Im sure this is more or less backwards, but before you cut your wire and wire everything up. Make sure the wire is long enough. I cut aproxmiately 6-inches off.

The black box near the top is the 3rd tail light LED. When you place it against your license plate you will notice that there needs to be some triming done so you can mount your LED to your license plate.

I installed my frame and used a grinding wheel to put a notch in my license plate and black frame.

This is a side view of how the wiring and extension off the bracket connects to my license plate.

I took the 3rd tail light and sandwiched it between my license plate and the front bracket from the license plate relocation assembly. I then used two small screws with nylocs to secure it all together.

Tighten up the thumb screw so that the top of it sits just below the opening.

Slide on your license plate.

Reach up under and tighten that thumb screw. Now if you didn't tighten it up as much as you can before your going to be there a while. =)

Connect the two ends of the plugs.

Finished product. Nothing like a little Pimping of Links4Jeeps.com to everybody whos behind me. Trust me its eye height and you can not miss it.

Just the running lights on

Outside with just the running lights on.
